Longboard Mold

This is a model for a 41" W-shape longboard mold. There are PartWorks files and toolpaths for machining as well as the STL files for the molds and a tutorial to help get it all built. This is a full size model at 12" x 48" x 3." The radii are offset to press a 1/2" fiberglass reinforced deck. See the tutorial associated with the project for more information. The molds are offset by 1/2" for the deck for even pressure. I am the person who modeled this deck and the molds. The pictures are just that, pictures. They are not renderings of a longboard I modeled in animation software. I am also on the SilverFishLongboarding forum. The press is currently being used in my high school to press decks for my students. An entire board costs about $40 using the process laid out in the tutorial I have attached.
