This variant of my "Mobile Solar Node" uses a 18650 lithium-ion battery instead of a LiPo cell.
The case is slightly thicker and the components have been rearranged a little.
These are the components I've used:
- Heltec T114 with optional GNSS module (I recommend to leave it off for better battery life)
- Ziisor 868MHz antenna
- 18650 3,7 V 3500 mAh polymer-ion battery
- BMS (battery protection board)
- 10cm x 10cm 5V 3W solar panel
This case has been designed in OpenSCAD, using the NopSCADlib. OpenSCAD source files and further documentation can be found on [GitHub](https://github.com/hotwolf/LoRaMeshNodes).
