Diorama: Lost Treasure I revisited this diorama project after it had originally been put on hold for a while. The idea came about because many of the submarine models available online are paid and sometimes quite expensive. Because of that, I wanted to create my own model and make it freely accessible to the community. The submarine was originally designed for a larger scale and as a standalone piece, but it was scaled down for this diorama. Once the contest is over, I will also release the submarine as a separate model without the special mount designed for the diorama, so it can be easily used for display purposes. For the diorama I built, I added a special frame around the base to incorporate the Bambu Lab light kit and turn the whole thing into a lamp. Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite as smoothly for me, and I suspect it’s because I used matte PLA.
