Wanted to try my hand at creating a very low cost 3d printer enclosure (less than $20) and so far this has worked out pretty well and I can finally print abs.
Pretty simple to build. Print 8 of the tent corners then 2 of each of the 90* corners if you want a door instead of a flap. the extra hole in the 90* corner pieces is for a string to help mitigate sag. Then make a cube using 1/4" dowels to whatever size of enclosure you need.
All connections with 1/4" dowels should be glued to help rigidify the entire structure.
