Low Poly Capablanca ChessDescriptionThis is a variant of Chess that includes two new pieces: the Archbishop and the Chancellor. The main idea behind these two pieces is that the Queen functions as both a Rook and a Bishop as far as movement and capture, however, there were no fusions of the knight. The Archbishop functions as both a Bishop and a Knight and is capable of moving as either. Likewise, the Chancellor functions as a Rook and a Knight. Given the two extra pieces, the board must be made 10x8 to accommodate.
