So this solution helped address this problem, and also allows use of the space for other items such as coffee mugs. Should work on many couches and recliners. This is a low profile version for less restricted access of grabbing the glass or mug, though sacrifices the spill protection from the original model. Left enough depth to utilize a standard coaster on the inside to catch condensation. The overall size was reduced slightly, so the adapter would fit inside the metal lining cup that comes with the couch so they can stay in the couch holder. Printed in PLA.
