NOTE ON SANDING & POST PROCESSING: To make this model look like most of the photos will require significant post-processing, mostly sanding. I sanded all outer sides of the frame (except the baseplate) with 120, 220, 400, and 1000 grit sandpaper. This required quite a large amount of effort and time, on the order of several hours to make it look nice. NOTE ON DIFFICULTY: This is a medium-difficulty project in my opinion. If this is your first electronics project, I think its a good one, but it will take some relatively significant dedication and problem solving to complete. If you have some experience under your belt, this is not a hard project. Here is a link to my custom cherry profile MX keycaps shown in the photos. I made this keyboard as my second Dactyal-Manuform build. I wanted a split keyboard with a much lower profile and less pronounced curve than a typical Dactyl-Manuform, while maintaining the layout and general shape of a Dactyl-Manuform.
