The default lulzbot mini Y axis on my printer was weak. it cracked. Also when I tensioned the belt it bent the frame.
So I designed this. These are designed to a VERY high tolerance. If you can't print in high quality, you will have some issues and need to do some work to get it to fit.
It uses a set of screws in the back of the rods on the motor mount piece. Insert a nut and use a 20mm m3 screw. tightening the screw increases tension on the Y rods. this keeps the tension of the belt off the frame.
I also re-did the Bearing holders. the stock bearing holders were loose. The bearing MUST be Press-fit. Lulzbot obviously didn't press-fit the original bearings. this is required in these types of bearings to get them to fit right. When I first installed the bearings, they were too tight. I had to chuck an 8mm rod into a drill and wear down the bearing until they could move freely. this is still better than what lulzbot had on there.
