Like everyone else who prints the 6' tall Saturn V I found that the "doors" that house the LEM are too fiddly and impossible to easily open and close. You need 5 or six hand to hold it all the bits in place while you "lock" them with the Service Module.
My remix has locking tabs on the sides and alignment tabs on the bottom.
You can now install them in rotation easily without help. The last one takes a little tilt to slip it in.. But they hold each other up.. and everything still fits in there.
I have also remixed all of the stages so that they can be printed on large format printers (like the CR10 and variants) and limit the amount of gluing which can be a challenge for PLA.
Printed in large blocks the model is much more durable and can be repetitively stacked and stacked without having superglue on constant standby.
EDIT. I discovered that the amount of clearance between the LEM and the adapter door is less than a milometer. And the tabs conflict at that spot.
