Lyme Park is a magnificent house in Cheshire, England. This is a model of it which allows you to replicate the house using your 3D printer. If you like the look of this model then please check out my other models such as Wentworth Woodhouse and Heveningham Hall
Brief History:
A house has stood on the site of Lyme Park since 1465 but it was demolished to make way for a new house built in the 16th century. The house was L-shaped and is still present today although it has been altered significantly with a new part of the house added at the back. It wasn't until 1820 that the rest of the house was added to make a courtyard in the middle. It was also around this time that the Palladian back to the house was added. Further alterations continued to be made but these were mainly internal or the addition of other buildings on the estate. In 1946, the house was given to the National Trust and members of the public can now view the house.
