M3 Nobby Nut Cap

This is specifically for covering the nuts on the BattleFleet game. I didn't like the look of the nuts with the rod sticking through a bit. I glued these caps to the nuts and installed them. I think they fit the Star Wars theme pretty good. They are a bit thin walled but there isn't a lot of room for installation. If you are using this for other purposes you may want to slightly increase the wall thickness on the exterior.

Also to note, the specific nuts I have are a bit small for m3 size so I scaled the X and Y down to 7.4mm x 7.4mm. If you also buy cheap nuts from amazon you might need to do this to get a tight fit. My calipers measure the nut as being 5.41mm in diameter face to face.

Print with 0.15mm resolution, if you don't use supports you'll need to clean out the inside with a hobby knife or small screwdriver. I didn't use supports, it was fine.
