Madera - Tealight holder

A modern tea light holder with wood texture. No AMS is needed for this multi color design. its designed in 2 parts. The outer part has wood texture in the print, This is then easily painted with a brown water based paint. Process of painting Firstly cover the whole part with dark brown (as dark or light as you want) Then sand it down, due to the texture, the dark part will remain. Then thin up the brown paint with water (Not white paint). and cover the part again with the lighter paint. (as the paint is thinned with water, i wont make the dark parts lighter) lightly sand again sporadically using a high grid sand paper to make some highlights. From here you can leave it, or thin the paint even more and cover it again. I recommed using wet sandpaper, as it does'nt mess as much ! For a smooooth finish use grid, 120 - 600.
