This is a Magic Band Reader Shell that allows you to mount this to anything that is magnetic. Our use is for our apartment front door with a Raspberry Pi to unlock our smart lock with the use of RFID. We LOVE Disney and wanted to have one that would be a nonpermanent solution.

This works perfectly with some 6x3mm Magnets found on Amazon.
