Magic Mushroom

This is my first upload and pretty much my first model.

This little mushroom is printed in two parts. The main body of the mushroom and the cap. The holes in the mushroom cap are filled by corresponding bodies in the main mushroom to give a smooth top. The entire mushroom is hollow or at least would be if not for the internal support required when printing. This support material can be removed from the mushroom stalk to allow an led to be inserted as shown in the picture.

I chose to print the main body with clear filament and the cap with red.

If printed with the base on the printer bed there will need to be a lot of support material to print this. You might wish to split the body in two and orient it for much less though I have not tried that.

Meshmixer will show the main body as having errors which I do not know how to fix but most slicing software does seem to know so it is not a problem to print.
