There are several Things I'd like to print. The problem is, they use 10mm x 3mm disc magnets as additional parts, and I don't HAVE any 10mm magnets. What I DO have are about a half-dozen 8mm magnets and 90+ 6mm magnets. Then it hit me: I have a 3D printer, I can just make adapters to utilize the magnets I have. Even with my extremely limited design skills, just a few minutes with TinkerCAD and I had what I needed. I even threw in a 6mm to 8mm adapter for good measure. Glue the appropriate adapter into the cavity where the larger magnet would go, then glue in the magnet.
If you need a different adapter, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
This is only my second Thing, and the first wholly of my own creation (the other was a very simple remix).
