I had the issue, that I liked to use some neodym magnets with my 3d prints. The bare magnet had a strong hold to the whiteboard, but when covered with some layer of filament, the strength has gone. I then build this model to test the strength of a magnet when covered with some lines of filament. In the 3mf-File you find tester ready to print for the following diameter of magnets: 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20mm each with 2 and 3mm height. Each magnet is covered by 3 and 5 layers of filament. Best is to add a new plate to the print and chose the models from the other plates to only print what you need. There is a pause in the print right before the cover layers are printed. Add your magnets and continue the print. I've oriented all the tester printed in red to work the same way as my marked “testmagnet” at it's north pole. I've also printed somme of them in blue, using the south pole. Bonustipp: Use your stainless steel hotend for printing, as it does not attract the magnets ;)
