A magnetic button system is heavily inspired by how the buttons on the FLUX keyboard project work. Two pairs of magnets sit on the sides and hold the button up. When you press, it takes a bit of force before the magnets separate, giving a satisfying click. The magnets will attract the button up once it's released.REQUIRED HARDWARE:- 4x D6mm x 3mm Round Magnets, any ones will do as long as they are neodymium. I just linked the maker's supply ones for convenience.ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:Place the magnets into the holes such that the pairs attract each other. Above is an example. Once the holes have the magnets, make sure to assemble the button corresponding to how you paired the magnets. It's recommended to use glue to hold the magnets in, since I left the tolerances loose. Have fun! Im planning on releasing a parametric version with the magnet holes being customisable.
