Magnetic Chess Set

This is a custom chess set I started to make for our lab. The rook I made myself, the other figures are remixes. The pedestal is designed to fit a 8mm neodym magnet (http://amzn.to/2qpkvwz). After gluing the magnet a added a piece of felt. Until now I couldn't find a satisfying design for the king/queen.
