Edit 3/27/2020: I realized that I accidentally uploaded the top stl twice instead of a top and bottom so please re-download the files.

I did a remix because while I loved smbaker's idea of using magnets to hold the halves together, I didn’t like the solid sides as I felt it was a lot of wasted filament and extensive print time. I also really wanted an easy way to put a zip tie back on the sample.
So I dropped it into Tinkercad, used a couple cylinders to punch out channels for zip ties and a combination of a tube and rectangles to punch out the sides to save filament and printing time and voila!
Notes:
1. I suggest only using 2 10mm x 3mm magnets for each side. As you can see in the pictures, I only use 2 of the magnet holes and it holds really well. I actually have twist the sides to get them apart. I think 4 would be hard to separate.
2. As smbaker says in his design, be very careful with the magnets around children!!
