Magnetic Edge Guide Clamp

The Magnetic Edge Guide Clamp for Tenon Saws is a cutting aid developed with inclusivity in mind. Designed especially for users with special educational needs or limited grip strength, this tool clamps securely to the edge of the wood, providing a stable and reliable guide. Built-in magnets help hold the tenon saw in position, allowing it to slide smoothly and stay aligned for straight, accurate cuts every time. Whether in a school workshop or at home, this adaptive tool supports independence, confidence, and success in woodworking projects. This is very much a work in progress and will be developed to suit the needs of the learners I am teaching. Each of the guides has got 2 magnets glued into the edges to hold the saw next ot the guide. They can be used by themselves or in pairs to sandwich the saw to keep it straight. Each block has a threaded insert put in to allow the knob to be tightened to hold them in place.
