magnetic flashlight mount

Holder for 27.5mm flashlight.

Knobs and Ball Socket Base should be printed at 100% infill. Flashlight Clamp can be printed at 10% infill. I chose .06mm layer height for smoother surface of ball socket, it works fine at lower resolution. #4-40x3/4" machine screws used for knobs, #4x3/8 sheet metal screw holds magnet to Ball Socket Base, hole spacing 13mm center to center. Hex nuts are pressed into recess in the knob. I just heated a pair of pliers on my stove, NOT RED HOT, and gently applied pressure to the nut until surface is flush. Firmly press ball into socket, it takes a bit of force. Some sanding may be required to smooth surface of ball on Flashlight Clamp.
