The trays are magnetic on all sides, so they join together for an organized play table. To make the magnet system easy to work with, I have placed an arrow on each tray, pointing to magnetic north, so you can confidently join them together. The trays are stackable as the bottom has a recess that the top slides into. The bottom of the tray is also curved, so you can get your pieces out easily.
