Magnetic Hose/Pipe Coupling

This is a magnetic coupling for 100mm hose or pipe. Easily connected and disconnected coupling to various other pipes/hoses. For me I created it to easily switch the dust collector hose to various pieces of machinery.

One coupling has magnets screwed into place, the other coupling has a washer and magnets insert from behind.

Some tips:
1. When assembling take care to ensure the magnets are arranged in the correct polarity, so they will attract each other not repel.
2. Screws to hold the magnets should be countersink type to be flush with the magnet surface, so that the magnet can make direct contact with with washer on the opposing coupling (much stronger grab this way). I used Neodynium magnets.
3. To give the screw extra grab, I put epoxy adhesive on the screw threads prior to screwing in the magnets
