Magnetic Pickup Tool

It’s inevitable, you’re working on something and drop a screw, bolt, nut, whatever and it is just out of reach. Well, here is the answer a magnetic pickup tool. This design is unique in that you can change the length of the shaft by printing extensions with the included profile or by using ¼”-20 Allthread to get an exact length. I have these in my workshop, garage, truck and in my tool box and they have come in handy on many occasions. The cavity for the magnets is 12.1mm X 6.1mm and will accommodate two 12mm X 3mm magnets. Smaller magnets could be used however you may want to apply some CA glue to keep them from rattling around. The print will pause when it reaches the top of the magnet cavity to allow insertion of the magnets.
