Magnetic Quick Connect Key Chain

I've used 3D-printed, screw-together quick connect key chains for years, but the screw-together mechanism didn't allow any give when the keys would twist in my pocket and they would inevitably break. This mechanism allows the two connected sets of keys to rotate freely, and it is s strong enough to hold a set of house/car keys and a set of moderately heavy work keys together. Janitors and jailers look elsewhere, this is just not designed for that kind of extreme key scenario!

Each side of the quick connect requires (2) 10 mm x 3 mm neodymium disc magnets superglued in place.
