Magnifying Glass

This is a 3D printed magnifying glass printed using an SLA printer using clear resin. (Form1+ from Formlabs). After support removal and cleaning, use about 5 thin coats of a crystal clear enamel spray. This will reduce layer visibility and greatly increase clarity of your lens. Be careful where you store this, in direct sunlight this lens will focus enough solar energy to start a fire.

Absolutely no sanding or polishing was performed on this print. The clear enamel will do all the work for you. Be sure to hang-dry the lens for a day or so because resting the lens while the enamel is not fully cured will leave marks on your lens.

I can't tell you any of the optical measurements because I just guessed at it for this proof of concept.
