This is a 3D-printed impossible pass-through idea, upgraded with a magnetic spring core. Inside the body, a magnetized sphere rides a cushion of like-pole repulsion, hovering and bobbing as you tilt, tap, or gently shake the piece. It looks like the center is floating in midair… because it kind of is. ⚠️ Commercial Use Requires Active Subscription. Free for personal use. Selling prints requires an active HexByte Commercial License — rights end on cancellation, including for existing inventory. See profile to subscribe. How it works (2) 12×3mm round magnets press into the top and bottom caps The inner sphere uses 6×3mm magnets arranged so the same poles face the caps The result: a satisfying, quiet “boing” effect — a kinetic desk toy that’s equal parts illusion and physics demo Why you’ll love it Quick, clean print with a big “wait… how?!” payoff Fun to fidget with, mesmerizing to watch, and great for showing off magnetic repulsion Looks awesome in multi-color prints (or go stealth-mode
