Mailbox Flag

UPDATE: I've added a new version (v4) which increases the overall thickness so I no longer need to use a nylon washer as a spacer and also removes the 2-3mm gap between the flag and mailbox.

We've been in our home for over six years now, and the flag on our mailbox was looking pretty tired. So, I designed several models and decided to print and uploaded version 3. I'm going to go back into Solidworks and increase the height of the "sidewalls" by another 2.5mm to make it match the original more closely. I'm also going to lengthen the shaft for the attaching screw as I needed to use a 2mm thick washer with version three.

I printed this with ABS at .3mm layer height and 15% infill. I also used a ten outline skirt in Simplified3D to help control warping.
