Maker Select Universal Spool Holder

I wasn't able to fit a Taulman 3D nylon spool on the stock maker select and I didn't like that many designs needed spool adapters, so I went ahead and designed my own that fits all spools I have ever come across without any adapters. The top pole mount is a spline at the bottom so that all spools should stay roughly centered, regardless of size.

I have uploaded the .step files if anyone would like to modify the files. The originals were done in Solidworks. The dimensions of the bearing mating surfaces may have to be changed depending on the tolerances of your printer. They should fit very snug.

You will only need one 608 Skate bearing for the mount and a small piece of PTFE is optional on the filament guide. The Spools turn very easy but you do have to make sure that your bearings have enough friction so that your spool won't unwind.

V2 Does not use a bearing now. Full assembly is printable and will have enough friction to not unwind spools.
