Makerbot Replicator 2/2X LCD Display Holder

This is to mount your Makerbot Replicator 2/2X LCD display on the front of the unit at a 30deg tilt. Much easier to see the display at this angle.

Three stl files. I printed all three in black ABS
1- LCD TILT BRACKET for the LCD display tilted at 30deg. It has two small holes in it to allow you to tap it M3 X.5 so you can screw the LCD display to it. The six slots are for mounting it to the front of the Makerbot.
2- LCD TILT BRACKET COVER which snaps in front cover after you insert the LCD display into LCD TILT BRACKET.
3- LCD BACK COVER FOR RIBBON that mounts inside the printer backed up to the original LCD display cutout. It has two slots to allow you to screw it in using the original two tapped holes that the lcd display was screwed in at.

To allow the display to reach in front of the printer you will need to buy a longer 26pin ribbon. I bought this on amazon for $3.69. Amazon: uxcell F/F IDC Connector 26 Pin Flat Ribbon Cable 2.54mm Pitch 20 Inch Length.
