MakerEdChallenge2/Action figure/Doll Challenge

My name is Ryan Williams (National Board Certified Teacher and Milken Educator) and I designed these lessons to take students through the engineering process while taking advantage of my school’s 3D printer. These lessons are engaging for both male and female students because of the use of action figures/dolls and problem solving. Your students will take the reins of project based learning and engineering by coming up with a product for the action figure/doll. Writing and public speaking play a major role in this process too because students will be answering open-ended questions, creating a magazine advertisement and a television commercial. Your job as of an educator takes on the role of the facilitator of learning.
