This dial indicator mount is made specifically for TÃRLEN DIAL INDICATOR https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043F779K/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0043F779K&linkCode=as2&tag=hubp0f86-20 , which has a mounting lug on the back side.
Always position the dial indicator manually, do not use motorized control from Printer Interface. I use a Z Axis Stay http://tinyurl.com/nz8wkc3 to lock the bed in place.
