I was annoyed seeing $100+ router table insert plates online, so I decided to create my own. Modelled to fit the Makita DRT50Z Laminate Trim Router, the insert plate has a 40mm hole for the bit to come through. The 4 outer screw holes attach the insert plate to the workbench, and the 4 inner holes attach the router base plate to the underside of the insert plate. Dimensions: W= 145mm , L= 125mm, H= 5.5mm
