Malamute Sense Scan

Sense scan of my Malamute. Not overly impressed yet with the Sense scanner, but still giving it a good shakedown. No surprise that the scanner had a terrible time dealing with fur, and I was constantly dealing with lost tracking issues. This STL has been cleaned in Sculpt to remove undercuts and unneeded spikes, then passed through 3DSmax to reduce poly count using the ProOptimizer modifier. Considering the astronomical number of faces in the original scan, it seems that they might be able to crank out a bit more detail. At 70,290 facets, this processed model is reduced to 34% of the original count (201,746). "RAW" is the original STL direct from the scanner. The printed model took approx 4.5 hours and is approx 4" x 3".
