This is a printable working maple seed spinner. Due to the requirements of the leaf portion to have as little mass as possible, it should be printed very large. The model as downloaded will fit onto a 220 mm bed. I believe scaling the X/Y dims down to 200 mm should still work. If you do scale, verify that the leaf portion is still only a single layer, and scale Z to be as large as possible while maintaining that single layer.
The thinner the layers are, the better for this model. I printed with 0.2 mm layers with no issue. If you can print a 0.05 mm first layer reliably, you can likely print the entire model at 25% scale which will be just about life size.
It is very delicate, so I used a razor blade to carefully separate it from the bed.
Additionally, you should print at 100% infill to increase the mass of the seed portion as much as possible. Tune your extrusion settings before trying to print this model.
