Marble Pillar

123D Design came highly recommended and then I find out it's getting phased out, woops. Anyway this is my first attempt at a 3D design. Have tips? Please leave them here, I'm so new to this I'm still in the 3D womb.

I meant it to have text that wrapped around part of it that could be customized to say what one would like but I cannot figure out how to make that happen, so expect tweaks. Ultimate goal was to make a small pillar looking decoration, on the top of which one can affix a marble. The resulting doodad could then be used to spruce up a fairy garden, your desk, or my original goal: the rodent cages. The critters rarely appreciate touches like this unless they dispense treats, or can be hidden under or climbed upon, but it amuses me to decorate their cages so I do. If I ever learn how to do this in any useful way, the treat dispensing/climbing features won't be far behind...
