Mars Base Sarah

This is my entry to the Mars base competition. The overall base design is hive like in appearance and function with each building connected by at least two connecting tunnels and is able to be isolated in event of fire or de pressurisation. The Main complex is located in the middle of the base surrounded by 6 outer buildings and five solar emf field generators. The main complex is modular in nature and is built using printed mass concrete printers located in two of the outer buildings. a large crane is located directly in the middle to remove the module from its point of printing to the central modular complex and place it with the rest gradually allowing the building to achieve great mass. The material used in the printing for the modules is a mix of man made polymers and Martian rock and earth that has been excavated in two of the other outlying buildings.
