MARS MANUFACTURING FACILITY

The MARS MANUFACTURING FACILITY is a robotic production facility placed in Vallis Marineris. The production facility uses the MAKERBOT 3D printers to assemble much of the supplies for the mining group. The production robots are derived from the robotic assembly line used by auto manufacturers and can assemble other robots as needed for production of fiber optic cabling, survey robots, scientific goods, and household goods.

The main quarters where the staff will stay is based on the current trend in hurricane architecture being used in Miami, FL. The skin of the building is structured in waves to breakup the high wind volume and spread it around the structure. The skin of all the buildings are a tungsten alloy that reduces the radiation.

The power system is two mini sodium-based nuclear reactors with a estimated life-span of thirty years.
