Mason Jar Ring for K Cup

I was trying to find a ring that will hold k cup in a mason jar. Could not find one. The closest thing I could find was this:

I remixed the inner diameter from 2 in to 46 mm so the k cup will sit flush.

The purpose for this is to repurpose k cups before they go in the trash. I am using these to self-water my seedlings. I am using soil, but could be used for hydroponics.
