Mathmos Astro Baby Plastic Base Inserts

A replacement plastic insert for the base of a Mathmos Astro Baby lava lamp. I have attached STL and STEP files for printing as well as the IPT Inventor file if anyone needs to modify it. I have printed a test one of the no lip and it works well, with a tight press fit. The lip version is more accurate to an original one as they do have a small 1mm lip that is visible on the bottom of the base. I made this addition after i printed the first no lip version. I printed it with 100% infill and supports. I would suggest using a high temp filament but the PLA one has so far worked well. I have modelled this to appear original from the outside when looking at the lamp. I have added holes for ventilation and also to be used to run a wire through. The small hole variants are for if you need to redrill to a bigger size with a hole saw to fit a larger bulb holder. The regular versions fitted a 10mm thread from the bottom of a cheap chinese lava lamp bulb holder.
