Maus Turret

This is a raw turret shell for the Pkw VIII Maus tank like the 6 found by the Brits at a factory after the war. I converted this through editing (opened up all the holes you see where hatches, gun ports, etc were located and adjusted the turret ring to fit the maus hull properly) as best as I could to resemble this unfinished turret to use with my previous Maus hull. This is in 1:35 scale as well and prints in about 14-15 hours. I found printing with the turret ring on the bed works best as most of the supports needed to print are on the inside of this. I use PLA filament with a 10-20% fill I did 1 at 100% fill 1st works great just unnecessary. I will be posting other parts ( gas tank, gun mantlet, guns, lights, tracks, and drive train etc) for this to use with a diorama build too ASAP or as soon as I confirm proper print-ability.
