Print sideways on its edge for maximum strength with some post work required, standing on its end (default) for maximum smoothness and little to no post work, but the strap slots will be less robust. Use supports.

EDIT: MK2 now available. It is slightly smaller and lighter and will hopefully solve some rattling noise the first iteration could make due to not quite enough clearance for the head. If you have clearance issues and the halves press together too tightly, I recommend sizing it up very slightly on the X and Y axis only to lessen stress on the screw threads. It should be snug enough that it just barely needs to be screwed down to close the gap between the halves completely so it deforms slightly to eliminate any free play, but too much can stress the part.
