Warning use at own risk. Over calm water a water landing may be okay. Over rough water it will float but your probably going to get water damage. Either way I only use it to fly over water for recovery reasons, I don't do water landings on purpose.
Mixed two legs with spikes to get floating supports. one front leg so print two. Use Styrofoam balls you can get a craft store. Ask for the foam balls used for solar system school projects. I used the kind with a smooth exterior, 3in diameter. Use the size you feel comfortable with and test in the tub in a few inches of water. The larger the more wind resistance.
Again warning, I only use it in case I'm over water and loose connection. They don't fly great but honestly not bad for the extra insurance. Drill a hole down the center of the ball, smaller than the spike and closer to the size of the shaft or a bit smaller than it.
I also used 5min epoxy to secure the balls to the legs. Put some epoxy in the drilled hole, push in leg alm
