- Case for a MAX 7219 display, controlled by a ESP 8266 (or ESP 32). Standard plugable USB-connection for power input. Simple wiring via jumper-cables.
- Used for displaying data (such as time, weather etc.).
- Designed for mounting below a shelf board
(114 mm spacing between the mountings (3, 4)).
- Front side is slightly tilted
(for optimal view when sitting on a couch and display is mounted in the livingroom cabinet :-)).
- No supports required
(print case and adapter IR frontside facing down).
- Lock into position MAX 7219 (9) and the four fixings (5, 8) as well as the magnets (1, 7) with some two-component adhesive.
- Adequate software is available in a huge amount in the net.
NOTE: Solder an additional electrolytic capacitor between the plus and minus contacts of the MAX 7219 (see picture) for enhanced voltage stability.
