http://krestoni.com * Simple minimalistic and elegant design. Dimensions without card reader module: W=54 mm, H=117.2 mm, D= 36 mm Dimensions with attached card reader: W=71.4 mm, H=117.2 mm, D=36 mm. * "MiniGuard" has the ability to be used with attached card reader module. For that purpose it's necessary only to replace the "back cover #1" with "back cover #2" and to attach the card reading module. The connection between the card reading module and the main PCB is realized by the copper lamels that touch each other when the card reader is attached, it's really easy. * "MiniGuard" is waterproof thanks to the standard o-ring sealants between the plastic plate under the keyboard and the main shell. * Materials used - the plastic parts from 15% glass reinforced Polyamide 66 or thermoplastic Polyurethane Shore 64-75 D (for example BASF Elastollan S74D), known with its abrasion loss and scratching resistance and also durability. Listed materials above are hard for processing so they could be substituted by glass reinforced Polypropylene. * The keyboard could be made from plastic and sheet metal also. This will increase vandal resistence. * There are snap-fits used for attaching some of parts between each other. This eliminate the need of using screws and makes easier and faster the assembly process. * The white, green and red lights come from LED mounted on the PCB and transferred by transparent middle plate to the spacing between the keys of the keyboard. * The plastic parts are rigid and durable thanks to the thick section and the properties of the material used. * Hot foil stamping process is used for the numbers of the keyboard, the logo, the "wireless checking card" sign and the arrows of the card reader. * Injection moulding process used for the plastic parts. * The parts are easyliy for tooling and manufacturing.
