Maxxair 6 button switch mount for Ford Transit

This mount is designed to attach the Maxxair 6-button switch to a 7500K Maxxair fan in a 2019 Ford Transit passenger van. The remote that comes with the unit is unreliable, and the batteries often die, so I added a control switch as the solution.

You need to use the dedicated (MA69FR) Ethernet cable made for the fan. A regular Cat6 cable end won't fit in the Maxxair fan control box it too big. Run the cable above the headliners. The most challenging part was routing the cable around the curved cabin headliner without removing the entire thing. I only had to remove a few screws on the passenger step-in handle and sun visor to reach my arm down in the front to fish it through the hole you drilled into the cubby compartment.

Print the switch mount in PLA or PLA+ with a 10% infill standing up with no supports. The Cubby fill pad was made with TPU.
