MC Escher lizard cube in 3D

A piece of art that is from MC Escher's work.

There are two versions, one that is purely a cleanup of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:771395 so it assembled better, and one that I think stays truer to the original artwork.

To assemble, I built each side, and then assembled the sides together. The compact version is more difficult to assemble. I found it necessary to keep the hooked foot (that fits next to the head) on the inside when fitting corners.

I included an pattern image for arranging colors in the way I thought most appealing.

The cubes in the images are printed at 75%. At full size, they are approximately 4.4"/11cm and 4"/10cm respectively.
