Mecanum wheels

This is my 3d printed version of mecanum wheels which are quite used in the robotics projects and also for the autonomous vehicles this set of wheels are designed assuming the shaft diameter of 6mm rod or it can be used directly on the geared dc motors or the stepper motors which is quite handy.

the parts include the 2 wheel parts and some bunch of rollers

the assembly of this component is quite simple

first the base wheels are arranged properly according to the position HERE THE POSITIONING IS QUITE IMPORTANT TO CONNECT WITH THE ROLLERS.
next fasten then with M4 bolts and nuts .

then attach rollers to the wheel bases in each wheel there will be total 9 rollers to be assembled and these are also fastened with M4 bolts and nuts

after a through examination that whether all the rollers are rolling quite smoothly these wheels are ready to hit the track.
