Mechanical Beholder

This was inspired by Acquisitions, Inc. and used in my home game. The monk is shown for scale (25.4 mm base, 37.6 mm tall). As shown, it includes a laser-cut clear red acrylic circle for the main eye/window and laser-cur stand. I printed the beholder and eyestalks on an Ender3, painted it with a base coat of dark bronze Rustoleum Metallic spray, followed by Reaper Dragon Bronze (09449) for the straps and accents, a darkened Old Bronze (09197) wash, and lightened Pale Green (09012) dry-brush. The key for the eyestalks came from my daughter, who supplied colored glitter that I shook onto clear varnish.
I designed a cutout below the main eye to hold a captains chair (thing:1489007 by CADCom7).
