It lived 100 million years ago."~ Pokemon Y pokedex entry The newest addition to the mechanical chomping Pokemon series comes from ancient Kalos, it's Tyrunt! This model uses an internal spring (non-printed) and gear to open its jaws up to 65 degrees when the top tuft of the mane is pushed forward the skull. The legs also rotate independently. I used a Cilky 0.4mm X 5 mm X 20 mm (thicknessX OD X Length) spring from Amazon but any spring >6mm OD 20-25mm long will work (any shorter and the jaw will rest hanging open, any longer and the jaw may not be able to open the full extent (depending on the spring's compressed length). If you want to pose the model with the mouth open I've included a “Lock” piece that fits between the back of the Gear Saw and the body.
